What You’ll Do
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
Create Behaviour Support Plans (Interim and Comprehensive).
Submit behaviour support plans to the NDIS Commission.
Provide training and guidance to families and support staff.
Monitor, review, and adapt support plans based on participant progress.
Ensure participant dignity, safety, and rights are upheld.
Reduce the use of Restrictive Practices through consistent training, planning and care
Facilitate positive outcomes through trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
Hold a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy or a relevant field.
Have registration ability with the NDIS Commission
Proficiency in report writing and ability to train staff in such areas
Ideally 1+ years working in Behaviour Support and strong knowledge of the restrictive practice frameworks.
Comfortable navigating complex challenges whilst guiding staff and families through these challenges.
