What You’ll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with individuals living with disabilities to enhance their independence, functional capacity, and quality of life. You will assess participants’ needs, develop tailored therapy plans, and provide evidence-based interventions that align with their NDIS goals.
This role is central to supporting participants across a wide range of developmental, physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs — helping them to participate more fully in daily life, whether at home, school, work, or in the community.
-Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and prepare clinical reports for NDIS planning and review.
-Develop and implement individualised therapy plans focused on improving daily living skills and independence.
-Recommend assistive technology, home modifications, and environmental adaptations.
-Collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
-Provide ongoing therapy sessions and track progress against NDIS goals.
-Educate participants and caregivers in practical strategies to support function and engagement.
-Maintain accurate documentation and meet NDIS reporting standards.
-Support complex needs, including early intervention, psychosocial disability, and behavioural challenges, where appropriate.

-Qualifications & Registration
-A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
-NDIS or Community-Based Experience
-Previous experience working with NDIS participants, or a strong understanding of disability, functional assessments, and support planning.
-Clinical Confidence
-Ability to work independently to assess needs, develop therapy plans, and provide practical, evidence-based interventions.
-Strong Communication Skills
-Capable of building trust and rapport with participants, families, and support teams across diverse backgrounds and abilities.

-Experience with assistive technology, home modifications, or sensory processing
