What You’ll Do:

Purposeful Partners is on the lookout for a compassionate and qualified Nurse Practitioner to support patients through virtual care. This flexible, mostly remote role with great support and professional growth is perfect for those wanting to help Australians access safe, legal, and compassionate care from the comfort of their homes.

This is more than just a nursing role. We’re looking for someone who leads with integrity, communicates with purpose, and inspires people to do their best work every day.

Core Objectives

  • Deliver safe, patient-centred, and legally compliant care.

  • Uphold high clinical standards in a hybrid model (remote + occasional office attendance).

  • Contribute to continual improvement in clinical workflows and patient experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual consultations for eligible patients.

  • Prescribe medicines, including Schedule 8 drugs, in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation and support patients through the treatment journey.

  • Collaborate with pharmacy partners and clinical teams.

  • Provide education and ongoing support to patients via online platforms.

The perfect Occupational Therapist for Purposeful Partners is more than just experienced—they’re an inspiring, purpose-led therapist with the confidence to grow our service.

They will be:

  • A Registered Nurse Practitioner with prescribing authority (Schedule 8) in Australia

  • Confident working with diverse populations, including CALD communities

  • Knowledgeable with Assistive Technology and Home Modifications

  • Trauma-informed and person-centred

  • AHPRA Registered

  • A strong written and verbal communicator

  • A collaborative team player

  • Emotionally intelligent and empathetic

  • Culturally sensitivity and respect full of all individual differences

  • Organised and detail-oriented

  • Committed to continuous learning and quality improvement

  • Willing to travel across Melbourne metro and some regional areas.

Bonus Attributes

  • Prior experience in chronic pain, palliative care, or alternative therapies preferred.

  • Interested in mentoring junior nurses or assistants

  • Strong technology proficiency, empathy, and adaptability to hybrid work settings.

  • Multilingual (desirable, not essential)
